Instruções de uso:
1. Usando técnica asséptica, retire o produto da embalagem
2. Limpar o septo com antisséptico antes de acessar a cânula
3. Remover a tampa protetora sobre luer lock macho
4. Caso já esteja conectado a um encaixe fêmea, certificar-se que todas as conexões estão seguras antes de usar. As conexões podem se afrouxar durante o transporte
5. Conectar o luer macho no luer fêmea do dispositivo de conexão
6. Fazer o Priming da porta da válvula e expelir o ar quando necessário
7. Conectar o conjunto de administração ou seringa na porta da válvula
8. Para prevenir o refluxo de fluídos após lavar a válvula, gire a seringa no sentido anti-horário e continue pressionando o êmbolo da seringa até que a seringa se solte da válvula. O Conector Valvulado tem em seu interior uma válvula em Silicone de dupla via e com travamento externo do tipo Luer Lock. Quando a válvula está na posição fechada, apresenta uma extremidade de superfície plana, lisa que é facilmente limpa. Quando um conector macho é inserido na válvula, o pistão elastomérico dentro da válvula é comprimido, permitindo a abertura expandir o diâmetro e o fluído atravessar. Assim que o Conector macho é removido, a seção abaixo do pistão fornece uma força de mola para retornar o pistão para uma posição fechada. Não é necessária uma tampa para manter a esterilidade.
• Velocidade média do fluxo = 4.500 ml/hora a 76 cm da altura da cabeça, usando Solução Salina Normas 0,9% mediante temperatura ambiente
• Para administração de medicação não assistida, usar somente seringas e conjuntos luer lock.
• Lavar o Conector conforme a política da instituição após ou entre: injeções de pequeno volume, infusões de sangue ou produtos de sangue, retiradas de sangue ou medicamentos não compatíveis entre si.
Para que se possa usar agulha:
1. Conectar um adaptador do tipo luer macho com septo autovedante com comprimento suficiente para acomodar o comprimento da agulha para a válvula
2. Inserir a agulha da seringa no adaptador do tipo luer macho com septo autovedante e enviar os fluídos
